Khushali Deepak Singapuri

My name is Khushali Deepak Singapuri (daughter of Deepak S. Singapuri). I graduated with an Honours degree in Biomedical Sciences in 2018. Since 2016, post understanding the vision, ethos and ideology behind the brand, I have been piloting the identity development and creation of NEW LIGHT Enterprises’ retail line, D’ Diamond Shoppe^® by NLE.

I have worked on various facets of this venture, ranging from logo design and branding, to conceptualization of the actual e-commerce platform and content development, product photography and editing, as well as sourcing for materials and services. D’ Diamond Shoppe^® by NLE believes that lay-men should be able to fully understand what they are purchasing. With this in mind, I have crafted a Diamond & Gold Education section in the footer of this website, which educates the common man prior to actually making a purchase.

In today’s times, where customizability and exclusivity are in high demand, creating an avenue for people to fully customize and view their dream engagement and wedding jewellery is imperative. To achieve this, I created one-of-a-kind Engagement and Wedding widgets which allow customers to view a 3D CAD render of their custom ring prior to placing an order. This is a unique feature that only D’ Diamond Shoppe^® by NLE offers. For this, I sourced for and worked in tandem with our 3D CAD designer, Ranjeev.

Shivani Deepak Singapuri

My name is Shivani Deepak Singapuri (daughter of Deepak S. Singapuri). I graduated with an Honours degree in Social Sciences in 2022. Since 2020, I have been assisting in the creation of D’ Diamond Shoppe^® by NLE’s website.

I mainly worked on the illustration of customized graphics as well as crafting of the policies of this website. Examples of my work are available in the Virtual Sizers and Policies sections of this website. Apart from this, I also aided to facilitate the integration of our diamond search onto D’ Diamond Shoppe^® by NLE’s website by organizing meetings across 3 countries and illustrated the initial sketches for the various customizable options which our one-of-a-kind Engagement and Wedding widgets have to offer.

Ranjeev Balasubramaniyam

My name is Ranjeev Balasubramaniyam. I will graduate with an Honours degree in Media and Communication Design in 2023. I worked with Khushali to create all the 3D CAD ring models in D’ Diamond Shoppe^® by NLE’s one-of-a-kind Engagement and Wedding widgets.

In the beginning, I had no knowledge on jewellery design however, post working on this project, I am well-versed in creating 3D CAD renders of jewellery.
